I had sex last night. Today, I am experiencing just a bit of blood on toilet paper after urination. It hurts a bit to urinate as well, like there's a lot of pressure "down there." I know I need to see a doctor, but what might be going on less than 24 hours after sexual intercourse??
This is definitely not menstrual-like blood, but blood occuring during or right after urination. It's not a lot -- more like light pink and only visible on the toilet paper.

My partner and I are both tested and clean, but he is uncircumcised.

When hubby started going blind the first thing doc says is take vit B12 at least until we find reason. Then I have prob (cubital tunnel syndrome) and surgeon asks me if other doc had me try vit B12. I am thinking B12 must help with the health of nerves. Can anyone tell me what this is? My assumption is that a deficiency of B12 can lead to nerve atrophy but I don`t understand the relationship. Please respond.

Central obesity (for those who don't know what it is go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_obesity) seems to be far less likely than regular obesity. It's also more dangerous - can lead to heart problems, abdominal problems, etc...

My question is - why might a HEALTHY (please don't reply with diseases) person have central obesity while the average healthy person has regular obesity? Does it have to be a disorder or can it simply be that a person was genetically pre-dispositioned for it?

Also - I know what central obesity is. Please don't just reply with articles about central obesity unless it answers my question. Thanks in advance.

I have a very serious question regarding blood draws with syringes. I have had my blood drawn several times before but never really made a big deal out of it until I heard a friend of mine saying that he always pays attention and sees if the nurse is opening a new syringe in front of him...I never paid attention before to this thing which I guess was very stupid of me !

Now to my question...how do they make sure they dont make the mistake of re-using the syringe...I mean the mistake can be so easily done..the nurse uses the syringe, transfers the blood to the test tube, recaps the empty syringe, and then without paying attention put the syringe on the table instead of putting it in the disposer....and then, when the next patient comes, the nurse uses the same syringe on him...

how do u guys make sure u dont make this mistake ! I mean it is sooooooooo doable....

I am freaked out !

I've felt sad/hopeless/unmotivated for a couple of years and last year I started feeling really anxious all the time and I would like it to end. I can't seem to shake it, I've tried exercising, eating healthy and everything but I can't stop feeling this way no matter what. I want to see a counselor but I'm extremely nervous to see one. I get horribly anxious just thinking about going. I'm really afraid and I feel like I'll be wasting their time. How do I get over this to take the first step?

I'm 19 years old and I've waited and prepared a long time for this. I'm being responsible and I'm using depo provera, along with a condom, that needless to say, numbed both me and my partner 'causing him to go limp in like 15 minutes. I love my partner to death and he loves me. But anyways, with each thrust, and he was goin' slow, it hurt REALLY bad. I was on my period. So there wasn't any foreplay, but the condom was lubricated. I was producing some lubrication, but apparently not enough. And to answer the main question, my partner isn't huge. So, that couldn't be the problem. I am though, 4'10.2. Could I be smaller down in that area and that cause this problem? Is this pain normal? Will it be like this next time?

To me life is full of ups and downs, and of course at times its hard to cope........ I'll probably get introuble for my opinion, but sometimes i see depression as a way out of dealing with life.

I'm the sort of person who is quite often down in the dumps but i just see that as my personality and i have a hard time dealing with things.

what are your views on depression, how many people do you know or do you take anti-depressants.

Whenever I do bench presses, I get a sharp pain in my shoulder that strikes when I first lift the bar off of the holders, and then it strikes worse when I put the bar back on the holder, when the pressure of the bar leaves my arm. It really keeps me from doing more reps than I could.

What are these people thinking when they post questions like "I've just lost all feeling on my left side, what should I do?" or "It feels like there's an elephant standing on my chest, should I call 911?"

What is up with this insane behavior? Should Yahoo! eliminate all medical questions? I mean who's really telling me my testicle swollen to the size of a basketball is normal?
