What are these people thinking when they post questions like "I've just lost all feeling on my left side, what should I do?" or "It feels like there's an elephant standing on my chest, should I call 911?"

What is up with this insane behavior? Should Yahoo! eliminate all medical questions? I mean who's really telling me my testicle swollen to the size of a basketball is normal?

I agree with you 100%. I think a lot of it is kids, talking B.S. I have seen the most incredible ridiculous, stupid, crazy off the wall questions as well as answers. I bet it's like this under other topics too. I went to family, oh my even more insanity. I think my answer to Ur question about the insane behavior, a group of members R not old enough or mature enough to be here. Good observations, I wondered if i was the only one thinking the same thing as U.

When someone asks a question that is about something medical, they are hoping someone will respond that has been through something similar, or knows someone who has. Why go to the doctor if it really is not that big, even though it is always the best thing to do when your not sure about something. But personally I do not have any insurance, and if I can get a answer that could possibly be close to what I am experiencing, then getting advice on what I should try at least before I waste my hard to get money before I go. And alot of times, people give reasonable and serious answers, and it helps. But other times it may not. It is all a matter of personal judgment, and I know I like having the option of asking a insane question before I go to a doctor.
