I've been dieting for a little over 3 weeks now. I've lost about 6-7 pounds depending on the day. I know this is about right..but I basically lost those 6 pounds in the first week and a half..and now I've been staying close to the same weight now for the past 2 weeks. I'm not sure if its muscle gain, or if I need to eat even less, or if I should break from exercise a little.
Here are the things I've been doing.
1. Stopped drinking soda.
2. Drinking more water.
3. 1 egg, one slice of lite bread and 1/2 cup orange juice.
4. Spinach salad with broccoli sprouts for lunch.
5. For dinner I usually cook a normal meal, but just eat a lot less of it.
6. I exercise for at least 1.5 hours a day.
7. I started at 248 and I'm at 241.5-239 for the past week.
8. Had my period last week.
26 year old female with no kids. Have been riding bike, running, and walking for exercise.

Methadone is a prescribed medication for harm reduction and becomes it's own addiction with a greater emphasis on the physical withdrawal aspect and psychological will be involved with the facing the pain faction but once a person is clean of drugs and alcohol there must be medical assistance to withdraw from methadone. The current methodology is for the person to withdraw by a process of taper and without any additional medical assistance i.e. medication for the agitation that (with all I am sure it is different) occurs. There are no clinics set-up for withdrawal assistance both psychologically and physically but lots of clinics to prescribe methadone. Is there no money for the medical profession in assisting an addict to withdraw?

K, so I've been drinking a lot of caffeine (mostly just coffee) for the past 1/2 year or so, especially around the holidays. I've been getting some pretty annoying headaches on and off lately, sometimes real bad. Could it be because I've cut down on my caffeine intake substantially? It's been a week and the headaches are still going strong. I was just wondering if they are caffeine headaches, how long does it take till they go away if I were to quit caffeine totally for awhile?

Also, is caffeine known to mess with the sinuses at all? They've been wacko for awhile too.

Hi, I really, really, don't want to go to class today. Do you have a believable excuse I can use? (For those of you who plan on telling me to "just go", don't bother answering because I'm not going). Please help. This is pathetic, I know.

I'm suffering from a nasty chest and sinus infection. I was blowing my nose yesterday, and my left ear popped REALLY loudly and painfully, and now there's a sharp pain every time I blow my nose. I can still hear fine, but I'm also aware of noises coming from within my ear (kind of like paper rustling, I guess that's the only way I can describe it).

I'm very prone to ear infections, but has anyone had something like this? I'm worried that blowing my nose might have caused the pressure in my ears to rupture my eardrum.
