Yes, that's what it seems like--and for most people a quick sugar pick me up is a coca cola, or orange juice.
You should ask him if his family has a history of diabetes....and he should also go see a doctor to obtain a proper diagnosis. Controling sugar levels is very important--and if he is diabetic,
a daily glucose check will be required in order to balance his diet accordingly.
In the long run, uncontrolled diabetes could lead to blackouts, amputation, death of tissue, affects organs, etc. which is why it is so important for him to get a check-up and be properly diagnosed.
Hope it helps!

Yes that is very consistent with hypoglycemia. He needs to see the doc ASAP and get this checked out. Once he drinks the soda he needs to follow up with protein but not the candy bar as the peanut butter is not enough protein to cover the amount of sugar he took in. Call and make him an appointment with his doc today so he gets this checked out.

It seems to be low blood sugar. Get a meter for testing his blood or have a blood test ordered by his doctor. If he has insurance then the cost of the doctor and test should be about the same.
To get the most complete report he should see the doctor.

It sounds to me like low sugar. I would have him see a doctor soon because it can be dangerous. When mine went low I rode my bike in front of cars on a major rode. If it wasn't for a cop being in the area I might of been killed. Good Luck and take care.

Sorry to tell you this but Cocoa cola is pure poison. he sounds like he has low blood sugar, but the things he's eating are not healthy. Honey, oats, fruits with high sugars such as grapes, bananas, pineapples or raisins are a much better choice.

More than likely, yes..low blood sugar, make sure he is eating breakfast, healthy snacks, and eats the same time every day for his 3 meals... .
One egg on toast is good for breakfast, I had to do this as I had Gestational Diabetes w/my 3rd pregnancy... He needs to get his diabetes under control... consult a dietician as well...

some times hypoglycemia is a warning and an early sign of diabetes ,to explain this you have to know that after good meal the pancreas will excrete insulin by beta cells in rabid and large amounts but with persistent high glucose diet these cells become exhausted so no enough insulin will be produced which eventually lead to overt diabetes .you should take him to a doctor because hypoglycemia may be a sign of pancreatic islets tumor (insulinoma). dr nas thanks.

Better get him into a doctor today. Sugar or blood pressure is off. Don't want to play around with those things.

Is he diabetic? Sounds like low blood sugar. If he is diabetic and you married this man, you need to learn everything you can about diabetes so that you can take better care of him.
