This is my second nosebleed in a week - and the thing is, I've never had a nosebleed before in my life!

I am in my second month of taking ortho tri-cyclen bc pills, and I have been taking valtrex for a cold sore. I am also on asthma medication.

Could these medications be linked to my nosebleeds?

Also, I have started a workout schedule that is much heavier than usual. Could this be related as well?

but this time of year get very depressed introverted and in past hopsitalised. This year just before Christmas sarted to feel extremely down hopless ect when in fact had achieved much assumed burn out Doc agreed to nip in bud (physical as well as social issues and demands)& I asksed for med to give me just 3-4 dyas constant sleep. prescribed Tomazipan 40mg inetermittant sleep overactive dreams mind buzzing with creative ideas ++ racing thoughts constant exhaustion. This wk 7 days supply only with srict warnings but with idea to give me some peace and hope to start again. Prescription: ongoing 150 Venlafaxine morn +75mg eve extra 1 /7.5 zoplicone morn +1/ 7.5 eve + 1 Ametriptoline eve 25mg. Sleep patn improved but stil wking middle nght less overactive mentally but still not knocked me out for short period to sleep and slow bown my overactive mind that physically I havnt got the enrgy to go with. Right now just wnt some peace energy and hope again a little time out

these things i do im not obsessed i just do them.... just because i feel i need to but if im around a bunch of people i wont do it.... just when im alone. i always set my sleep timer on the tv on 40 and if i dont i feel really weird and i cant fall asleep.. and if the volume has numbers i have to have the volume on an even number... if i have food in the microwave and i have to take it out early i can only stop it on an even number... and when i eat m&m's or skittles or any colored candy i have to sort it out by color and put one from every color aside and when im done eating the others i have to eat the ones i put aside in alphabetical order..... i cant go to sleep if there is one thing in my room out of place...i wouldnt say im obsessive and i dont feel depressed if i dont do these things im just a little weird about it but i think it might be the start of ocd but im not sure

I am a nursing student and am currently working in a community health rotation, going into the homes of the elderly and assisting them with their medical needs. I am working with a patient who is taking medication for diabetes, but is having a hard time remembering to take his medication. He is prescribed to take the pills once in the AM and once in the PM with meals. He says he wakes up and eats at all different times of the day and can't remember to always take the pills. He is not taking them regularly and may be going days without taking any, and then having some days where he's taking them more than twice. I am trying to think of some way to remind him to take his pills, regardless of what time he wakes up or if he's out for dinner or whatever his particular circumstance is for that day. He does have a pill box, but does not remember to fill it for the week, so that method does not appear to be effective for this patient. Does anyone have any suggestions?

it doesnt happen very often. all of a sudden when i breathe i feel pain either in my left or right side. when i breathe normally i cant feel it as much, but if i take deep breaths it really hurts.
it usually goes away when i sleep for a while or overnight. i kind of doubt it's my heart because it hurts on both sides (never both sides at once). im not overweight or anything. im about 6' and weigh around 160lbs. i dont really exercise.
i appreciate any help. thank you.

My boyrfriend of 2 months has diabetes (sort of under control). He's good about going to the doctors, ok about taking medicine and eating. But his sugars are still higher than they should be and he doesn't get any physical activity. I don't have a family history of diabetes so I'm very unfamilar with it and I'm very active and healthy over all myself. His diabetes frankly terrifies me. Although everything else is greally great. Any advice?

Hi ladies. was wondering my period is already 5 days late. I went for a pap test when I was only 1 day late and doc gave me a urine test which came negative. But now is 5 days and period still not here. Should I re-test?? Not sure what to do are those urine test at doc office pretty accuarate?? She did the pap and said she saw a drop of blood but that was 4 days ago and yet no period i am usually exact every 29 days have never missed a period except when I was pregnant. But dont know what to think I do have sensitive nipples but that does not say much is very diff to when I was preg my nipples were almost in pain. So what do you think is there a chance i might be pregnant or the test should be more than enough??

Im having bad bad pain in the intercostal muscels and tried a coulple of basic pain killers for it but nothing has worked. Just b4 i coughed ans something went click and now i can hardly move cause of the pain, i have had this problem for over three months but this month is the worst i have had test on test to find out this keeps happening, the only thing the docs think its a bad chest infec that just wont go any suggestions on how to help pain????
