I play outfield on my baseball team. I was wondering if there were any specific excrcises that could either increase my speed when I run or my response time.

what about this? is it good to do also?

Flying 30's are a great way to improve top end speed. Begin at a jog and on a signal, break immediately into a sprint for 30 yards and then come back to a jog. Repeat three times.

Sled pulling and up hill running is a great way to improve acceleration.

This is what my track coach used and though it's simple, it did wonders for me and many other team members.

There are also studies that show that reflexes (response time) are improved by video games... or basically anything that involves a lot of practice with having to have quick reactions. It's so much a mental thing that you can even try to do some mental exercises for speed/reaction time before a game/practice. You might be surprised at how much that helps.
