I can voluntarily shift my eyes (I'm not sure how) in order to see 2 images of the same object. Is this common?

Before any confusion arises, this is not the same for me as crossing my eyes.

I don't see double images all the time, I can just make myself do it. I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with me haha I'd go to a doctor if I couldn't control it.

hum- even though you can control it happening, it wouldn't hurt to make sure everything is ok with your eyes. I dont think this is common, although it could be just something common to you. I think when it comes to your eyes, it always best to side on caution and get examined any potential problems.
