Fustrated in my teens and 20's. I was always very slim/thin. Now I am 44 with 3 children (twins and an older one) and am 5'4" and 116lbs. I can gain weight around the middle now, don't want it there. I eat well, salads, veggies, no meat and thrive on Carbohydrates. Always make sure to leave the last bite of food. Don't like sweets, take my vitamins daily. I am happy when I eat well. That I know that I am doing what is right by my body. That it is no big deal to pass on desserts and junk food.

I'm SLIM (skinny isn't a appropriate word)... lol.

And I eat whatever I want to eat. I may gain a few pounds here and there. But my lifestyle will keep me thin, walk lots. Play with dogs (chasing them around is excerise!)...
I stretch regularly, do lunges. Jog here and there.

Also I have good genes so it does help. But it's basically the lifestyle that you lead which will determine if you're skinny or fat. And if you like your body.

Man, I just eat what I want, I burn it off in the end (I'm extremely active in sports and running). But I'm very careful to not eat too much bad stuff. I eat lots of Oranges, Apples, and bananas, drink alot of water, and whole milk, and I love eating all kinds of meat. I'm just the average Joe, just I'm much more active, so that makes me healthy?
