Can my daughter get ssi or ssd because she have auto-immune disease that cause her hair to fall out and regrow in 3 or 4 monthly cycle. Is that handicap or disable? If she is then i can go to her doctor to get paper to show prove to social security office. I know that it also cause emotional problem or self essteem problem but I will always be there for her to love her!!

just a few questions because i am having killer back pain when i move around . Also i am only 26
I am having mid back pain with crunching , grinding and popping noises , if back pain is a result of this type of cancer would i be hearing these noises with the pain or would i just feel the pain without the noises .
I have had this pain for about 2-3 months and in this time haven't lost any weight at all . Would it be safe to assume that i would have lost weight by now as well if this was pancreatic cancer?
My bowel movements are a little odd , just smaller with a weird consistency , for the most part the colour is mostly normal , does that sound like a symptom ? My pee is still very normal .
My main concern is the back pain though . If i am still it doesnt bother me . I have been to a doctor and am having a bone scan done on friday . If anyone is a doctor or is very familiar with pancreatic cancer please let me know .

There is a musty smell that I Can't identify and when I come home after a weekend to a closed up house I get really sick. My chest starts to hurt, my head, my ears, my throat and I feel dizzy and disoriented until I can air it out(my stomach hurts too). Will allergy medicine help this if it is mold?

I am 31 years of age and are 99% positive i have ocd. As far as i can remember i have suffered from this from an infant.( from tieing my laces 3 or 4 times and walking 3 steps forward 2 steps back) Those were the old days but things have got a lot worse since then and more over the past 5 years. I am to embarassed to speak to family and so on, and any body who suffer from this know's what i mean! There is no hope and i want to end it all!

The government has made available enough tamiflu to treat 25% of the UK population when the next pandemic event arrives, do you think this is enough or are we being shortchanged? they say it is expensive to produce and has a limited shelflife,and yet they can waist millions on overseas 'wars' and other stupid things so do they really care about their citizens? Also i have read that children under a certain age and the elderly will not be treated,is this correct? and if so do you think it is fair? And what about the expected fatalitys of50,000 deaths or more ( source D.O.H ) what plans do they have for the dead,will dignity go out of the window?
No one can tell what will happen but we are told it could be catastrophic, do you think we should be better informed than we are at present,as after all its our lives that are at risk when a pandemic occurs.

I have been on and off sick for about 3 weeks now. On days that i felt okay i would see my girlfriend and kiss her and everything. friday the docter said the bloodwork said i got mono. since i had been kissing my girlfriend more than likly she has it now right? if i wait a week or two to kiss her, will she give it back to me once shes sick? what can i do to avoid having her give it back to me?

My husband guessed my secret which I had to admit. but since I admited it I have been suffering really bad depression worse than before.

I was sexually. physically and mentally abuse from being the age of 14 up until about 9 months ago by my step father. As a result of this my 14 year old son was born when I was 14 years of age, but the abuse still carried on. I dont know what to do, before my husband found out I just put it at the back of my mind but now I can't. He want me to report him for what he did. He always told me when I was younger that if I did that he would kill me then kill himselve, so I am to scared to do anything.

These days I can't sleep cause I have nightmares, other times I just feel I can't go on. I have been to the doctors but can't seem to get the word out why I depressed cause I'm ashamed I let it go on for so long. all he does is give me tablets which I can't and wont take. anti-depressents just masks the problem. I ddont know what to do.
