This herb is a hard, woody mushroom that grows on trees in higher elevations in Washington, Colorado, Utah and surrounding states. Latin name is Fomitopsis pinicola. Supposed to really boost the immune system.

I saw several references (some pretty hokey) on the web. Also listed as Teaga and Chaga.

I work in a natural foods store and I'm pretty open to new things...but this one sounds like hooey to me.
