1500 CALORIES IS WHAT I AM SUPPOSE TO CONSUME AND I WEIGHT ABOUT THE SAME.

I guess I would really like to know how tall you are, that makes a difference. For a female, the first 5 feet = to 100 lbs, every inch after that you add another 5 lbs. So if your 5'5" then your ideal body weight would be 125 plus or minus 10 lbs. For a male it is 106 lbs for the first 5 feet and an additional 6 lbs for every inch over five feet. Let's assume you have about 100 lbs to lose, your diet should not go lower than 1500 kcal. What you need to do is focus on burning more than what you consume. It's not difficult to burn 1500 kcal in a day, even sitting for most of it. There are 3500 kcal in a lb, so if you could burn an additional 1200 kcal a day to the 1500 you consume, you could lose a pound every 3 days. That's 2 lbs a week and very doable. Check out the weight lose calculators online that will tell you how many calories you will burn doing certian activities. Well, you can go to mypyramid.gov and enter your age, height, and weight. They will give you your caloric intake for a day so subtract 500 calories to lose weight. I would not recommend lowering your caloric intake below 1200. Also, exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes to help with weight loss

depends on how tall you are the 265 lbs weight is good for a body frame of 6'-6' tall but if your only at the 5'8-6'tall frame you need to be at least 175-180 lbs and you need to consume at least 1500 cal.-2000 cal. aday
