Please don't generalize! I have never cheated and I tell the truth. Just because you have one bad experience don't condemn the whole gender. Because if I did that I would say that all women want is to see other men and fool around on there mate.

It's not just men that are unfaithful, women are just as much as men are. I would contribute it to the fact that guys in general have a need to try and make themselves superior to each other. Sports, jobs.. having a bigger house than the other guy...
And with sex seen everywhere today, it's just another tool that guys can use to put themselves above each other.
Another thing to consider is the fact that whenever anyone cheats and lies, men or women, there is a certain sense of danger, the idea that they COULD get caught has a certain excitement to it.
These are just general ideas that have been floating around for awhile. In truth, there is no particular reason why it's done, as the situations with people differs. One thing that seems to be rather consistant I think though, is that someone who has been cheated on is less likely to do it themselves, since they've gone thru the feelings of hurt and usually would not want another person to go thru that because of them.
Of course, there's always exceptions to the rule, which is probably where the phrases 'guys are pigs/dogs' and 'girls are sluts/whores' comes in.
So all in all, there isn't any real way to answer this question, only to give general opinions. Hopefully that helps you a little tho :)

Men are genetically pushed for reproduction. Thats why with each ejaculation we spit out millions of sperm each with a chance of inpregnation. We are constantly fighting our desire to pass on the genes. Women are different, as they are the gatekeepers if you will. They initiate sex but keep their fertility hidden (a guy can't tell if your ovulating or not).
Women don't understand this desire (which is very common in females though it is considered more taboo to talk about it). Guys lie to be able to maintain a middle ground. Show some understand (with guidlines like no sex with others but you can look) and this may start an honesty path. Otherwise keep shopping around until you find the exception to the rule, as with any generalization there must be many.

It's obvious you've had a bad relationship with an immature male or more and it has made you bitter. What you need to realize is NOT ALL MEN are the same. You need to remain free of a relationship until you learn about yourself, what you want out of life and out of a partner and re-evaluate where it is you find your partners.. Then when you are ready, you need to just allow it to happen instead of searching for it. Searching is a sign of insecurity. When you search, you become blind to the flaws which may be a major impact to your future with this partner. In time, the right one will come along.

men only act the way and do the things WE as women allow them to! if your man knows ( with 100% certainty) that his a## is out the door if you catch him cheating, he's not gonna do it! too many times they come home with some tall tale( B.S story) about where they were and instead of calling them out we (women) except it- or worse yet- they get caught cheating and tell you how sorry they are they love you it wont happen again and we( yeah women) take them back! so ladies STOP doing this. make it clear that you will not except lying cheating men if we ALL join forces they may learn! remember they treat you the way YOU let them and oh yeah- you gotta stop the whores that like sleeping with a man whos taken!!

C'mon now. Don't paint the whole male population with the same brush. They're not all bad. You sound as though you had a bad one. That's unfortunate, but move on, and you'll find a good one, because they are out there.
