Hello, I am 15, and I would like to gain muscle mass and tone my muscles. I understand some very basic things about training, but I would like to understand the nutritional aspect also.
I only eat natural, no hormone, no genetically modified foods, usually raw. I also drink pure juice and sleep, around 11:00 to 6:30 in the morning. I do not eat energy bars, nor drink Powerade/ Gatorade, because someone told me it was poison. They also told me to not eat Centrum, or any pills for vitamins.
I need the power and speed for two sports, fencing, and swimming. Cross training?
But I also want to look nice in the summer on the beach.
I currently bench 90 pounds and curl 30 on my left arm, 40 on my right. I can do about 20 pull ups and run my mile for 6-7 minutes.
I would like to train better, easier, and faster, without being stupid.
Does the amount of time you work out a muscle matter?
