Alpha-Hydrox, it's a glycolic acid it's basically a chemical peel. I've been using it for over 16 years and my complexion is absoutely flawless. I kid you not. I don't have a line, wrinkle, blemish, age spot, or discoloration on my face whatsoever, and I'm 39 years old. I don't even have tiny lines around my eyes. Alpha-Hydrox is the brand that I prefer because is the strongest you by without a prescription and the least expensive at around $10. But you can use any glycolic acid or salicylic acid and get the same results. The stonger the concentration the quicker you'll see results. I'd say give it 6 to 8 weeks. Avon was the first company to make it it was the Anew line and the products a wonderful. You should feel a bit of tingling when you put it on. Today there are also 2-step chemical peels that you can buy that will probably do you a lot of good if your skin tone is really uneven. I haven't used any because thankfully, since I've been using this stuff I really don't need it, like I said my complexion is the best it's ever been. And, my complexion was horrible when I was a teen & in my early 20's, it was unbelievable.

Another very important step - Always wear SUNSCREEN the sun damages your skin and causes those lines, wrinkles, age spots, discolorations, and worst of all skin cancer. Protect your skin and it will not reveal your true age. Happy New Year.
