Can Saccharin cause weight gain like Aspartame?
Can your body digest Saccharin unlike Aspartame?

I do know of the cancer warning. It's irrelevant to this question.

A little background info: I'm 17 years old, I weigh about 135-140, I'm 5'-9" (maybe a little taller), and I'm a male. I run about 30-50 miles per week for about 11 months out of the year, and I lift weights 2 or 3 times a week. I'd like to think I'm in shape. I wouldn't say I'm a healthy eater, but I probably have a better-than-average diet.

That's why I'm bothered. My resting heart rate is usually in the 70's. My blood pressure is high (I believe 108/78 last time I had it measured, which was about 2 weeks ago). There's also a few other things that may be related. I bruise very easily, and bruises and cuts don't heal as fast as they should. Also, my ribcage is not symmetrical. In the center where it meets, the left side seems to be pushed into my chest more than my right side. When my heart beats, it is very noticeable on my chest (you can see my chest move every time my heart beats). I don't know if any of these conditions are related, but should I be concerned?

I can't eat anything with aspartame and I don't want to waste a bunch of money trying candy after candy. I found that Lifesavers Sugar-Free Butter Toffee candy is good, but would especially like some fruit-flavored hard candy and/or lollipops. Also wondering if there are sugar-free gums w/out aspartame. I don't have Diabetes, I'm trying to quit smoking and when I need candy I want to eat only sugar-free as one of my ways of controlling the amount of weight I gain.

If so, how soon will I see an improvement? (I have a little bit of spacing between my teeth...they are not major gaps.)

Even though I've used Sensidyne on a continual basis for a couple of months, it does not help the sensitiviy along my teeth where some of my crowns meet the tooth. These same teeth are sensitive to cold, but not hot. They are also sensitive to brushing at first, but not as bad if I put hot water on my toothbrush and toothpaste.

Does anyone know of any new procedures that can desensitize teeth?

I have an ovarian cyst that is HUGE. Should I let the doctors cut it out, or just let it stay? It is a complex cystic mass that is 10 cm large.

They had to glue her wound shut. They said it is an alternative to stitches. I didnt like that idea but they promised it wouldnt get infected. Well... there is pus inside the glue where the wound is now. I called the ER and they had a doctor call me. The doctor said it was ok and not to worry about it unless she gets a fever or it swells up or smells funny. If that happens, take her to urgent care. The pus is a yellowish color. I am still worried. What should I do?
