First of all the amounts of weight you are talking about are relatively insignificant if you are height weight proportionate. A little hefty isn't as big a deal as ever body makes it out to be. Your obsession with those amounts indicates you might be on the way to a eating disorder. Especially if your weight loss was by diet only. The best way to loose weight is eat a little less and exercise a lot more. Diet only weight loss usually creates a biological imbalance that results in more weight gain later.

First of all, don't over do to lose weight or else you will hurt your self. One thing, you should be active as much as you can. Take a walk. Have a dog? Take it with you. Join a fitness group, or going your family and make one.
After that remember to eat good. Good food. Low fat. Don't go crazy either because you eating something you shouldn't. Once in a while, but not to much.
And always confidence in your self. Don't get mad because you don't lose weight. YOU WILL GET THERE.

Please go to a doctor and check if you have PCOS. sometimes women put on weight for that. Is your menstrual cycle regulars? I had PCOS and lost 22lbs after I started taking medication. It also effects your skin and metabolism, so no matter what you try (diet or exercises) you will not loose weight unless this is treated.
Also do a T4 test for your thyroid gland. Those are two hidden reasons as to why some people cannot loose weight.

Well, I think that there are some facts that are missing, like for example:
Did your diet change?
Did your level of exercise change?
But then again, there can be other factors why you aren't losing weight like thyroid problems, etc. I would suggest talking with your doctor about it.
Thanks,

Quit being so hopeless and exercise!
If you do, it will not matter so much is you lose weight as
muscle weighs more than fat and, as a result, you could stay
the same weight, but look completely different!
Good Luck!
