It depends on mainly 3 things:
1. height
2. current weight
3. if he/she is an athlete
i'm 14, and i do gymnastics over 11 hrs a week so i consume about 2,500 calories a day. however for someone that doesn't work out that much it can be less. However much less than 1700 and your getting dangerous. A good range for a healthy 14 year old non athlete is between 1900 and 2100 calories a day.

It really depends on how active your child is. Mine was on a high school swim team and the coach recommended 6000 calories a day. It was a chore to keep weight on him. However, if your's is a coach potato probably between 1600 and 1800 hundred.

You cant really get a definite answer- it depends on how much activity you do each day etc- the only answer you would get would include a very broad range of calories- i know in Kj it somthing like 1900-

It's a very tough question because it depends on your sex, weight, build, amount of lean muscle, etc.
I good rule of thumb is multiply your current weight by 12 to get the number of calories to maintain your current bodyweight.

Depends on your height and weight; because you are still growing, I'd say at least 2000, no matter what you weigh, or how tall you are.
