Most of my friends smoke and most of the time im around them when they smoke, so i get alot of the 2nd hand mess. but recently ive had the urge to steel my moms cigs and go smoke, like once or twice a day. anyways, i was woundering if you can get addicted to ciggerets by second hand smoke or is it all in my head?

I really wouldn't call it addiction, but something in that direction seems entirely possible.

It could be in your head too. I've been a smoker for a decade, believe me, your friends will not believe how stupid they were in a few years and if you start smoking, you'll be in the same boat.

Your mother smokes so you are more prone to have a addictive personality. If it is not tobacco you will have the urge for something else.
Second hand tobacco smoke or the waste from a car everything is bad for us in today's society.
One can get lung cancer and not be around a smoker in there life.
You have inherited a addictive personality. Not fun but you can either give in or fight it. This does not just go away even with time....sorry to say.

You can only get curious if you are around them but, you get addicted if you try them

So if you don't smoke it is not a good habit to start they are not good for your health and are very expensive

well for one don't listen to your first answer he dosen't know what he's talking about because i got addicted all my friends smoke and personoly i love it it takes stres off of you my mom smokes to but i've never stolen any frokm her i don't like the brand she smokes it not strong at all i have to have newport sport or mallboro or how ever you spell it don't really care but anyways it happend to me so yeas it can happen to you

i would think so. the nicotine is in the smoke and your breathing in the smoke. seems possible.
