Both, plus if I may add one.....SCORPIONS! shudder.....sometimes I think we humans were innately made to be cautious, if not terrified of creepy-crawlies because a portion, admittedly, not too large a portion, of these creatures can be harmful to us. Yuck, now I have to go think about something else, thanks so much!!! lol

Spiders, by far! They're very creepy, for one thing and I don't like creepy-crawly things that have six or more legs - just always had a fear of them. If I see a tarantula in a pet store, I'm fine being close to it as long as it's got something between me and 'it', such as it being in a cage - lol. But, for the most part, I can't stand spiders! I freak when I see one in the shower or in my bedroom crawling up the wall, especially if it's too close to me. They just totally give me the willies and the creeps! Snakes? not a problem - LOVE snakes! I pick them up and hold them any chance I get (not the dangerous, poisonous ones, of course - just the pet-able types - lol).

oh spiders for sure! I hate how it feels when a spider is crawling on you! And have you ever seen one of those huge spiders in the deserts of the middle east that are bigger than a mans foot? ugh its terrible they are truly disgusting creatures.
Snakes are ok as long as they are not poisonous. I see little snakes in the park all the time and its no big deal. Luckily I have never had to deal with a poisonous one!

I believe there is a direct corolation between how many legs something has and how disgusting it is.

Humans: 2 Legs
Dogs: 4 Legs
Ants: 6 Legs
Spiders: 8 Legs
Centipedes: Not a hundred, but a lot.
Millipedes: Not a thousand, but a lot more than centipedes.
Slugs/Snails: That thing they slide around on excretes mucus so thousands of tiny little feet can push it a long.

Spiders. I HATE spiders. I have an irrational fear of them. They bite. They are creepy. Recluses can poison you, possibly kill you. They are small, so they can get away fast. The big ones are just frightening. Nothing that creepy should be that big. Ever. The eyes. The legs. Just bleh!

Now, snakes I like. I've held several, and there's really nothing to fear there. They are smooth, and quite neat actually. :)

Spiders give me the creepy crawlies. Reason? All those legs. Oh my gosh. Even the small ones. It just freaks me out thinking about it. AAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

spiders.... Because they have eyes the whole way around their bodies. And they creep. They can fall into your hair. Ugh.
