I am a nursing mother. I want to lose 40 lbs. but need help, I was thinking of diet pills and eating healthy and exercise ofcorse. Does anyone know of any diet pill that is safe to take while breastfeeding?

I have this brown bruise looking spot on my lower back on my spine. it doesn't hurt at all but it won't go away. My friends say it looks painful. What is it? How can I get it to go away?

My father is 76 yrs old & was diagnosed w/ rectal cancer last August/06. A bit of history----I am now 50 & all of my life we have been like the very best of friends. I stayed by his side almost nonstop for 1st 6 wks after his diagnosis, then went home. He has completed his radiation therapy, and continues w/ oral chemo drug Xeloda. My biggest problem is that as time goes on, he has gotten meaner and meaner. He says that is what he must do to try to survive his cancer.

Unfortunately, he has begun drinking beer a lot recently (he quit the moment he 1st got his diagnosis). Also, last night we had a huge blow up as he states he does not deal well with emotions (VERY TRUE), & I was trying to recover from withdrawing from elavil which made me super sensitive &emotional. What do I do? He has not called to apologize today & I do not feel it is my responsibility to call him after the VERY CRUEL things he said to me. What do I do ??? PLEASE, I am DESPERATE !!

Hi, I am a 21 year old female college student. I never got a meningitis vaccine, but I've been advised I should, so I'm going to. Do insurances generally cover this type of vaccine, or no? If they don't, do you think it will be cheaper at my school or with my general physician? I have blue cros/ blue shield PPO insurance through my dad's work- UPS.

Also, is there any other vaccines I need, or would beneficial for me to get at this time/age? I got all my childhood vaccines, but I really don't know when's the last time I had a tetnus shot or any hepatitis vaccines, or even if I need more...and I've moved around a lot in the past, so I'm not entirely sure how to find that stuff out.

I've heard about the HPV vaccine, but I'm kind of wary of it being so new and all.

i have read many guides on how to use a tampon and ive tried many times and have been very relaxed..but whenever i try i get about an inch maybe not even and theres something there. something like blocking the tampon. i tried to continue and try to push the tampon but it hurts. i tried to put my finger up there to see if i can feel anything..and i feel something kind of hard stopping my finger. i have never used a tampon and im scared this "blockage" will interfer with my life. please please please help me out.. :[

I can't stop masticating, every 8 hrs. or so I get the overwhelming urge to masticate and I just can't help myself. I'm ashamed to say it, but I've masticated in every room of my house, including the kitchen. I'm beginning to not care whether I masticate in public or not. Am I addicted?

I know its a silly question but the reason my fangs are so yellow in the first place is because I LOVE coffee and my diet-coke. I drink about a pot and a half of coffee a day. (over 8 to 12 hour period at work) No way can I cut out coffee for 24-48 hours after bleaching as recommended. I've heard the reason for no dark foods is because the teeth are porous after bleaching. Is there any way I can fill in the pores with something? A good coating of sealant maybe? lol. Seriously? I like to taste the coffee on my palette. Straws kill the sensation. I guess I'm a coffee-snob. Please help.

Fast aging ?
My Dad is in His early eighty's. I am seeing Hime age very fast Now! He's stooped over and His Face is droping You can see his face bones His eyes are saging. He Has changed Big time in the past year!! every one I run inti in town coments about Him. He has a leaky Heart valve But the doc says hes OK. I now just takes a seat at partys He used to always be walking around Now He comes in and sits the whole tim. Is he on the way out? Sign of the END?

I quit drinking alot. If I have a few beers the next day I am ok but two of three Days later I get verys Depressed where I have truble thinking or working. It will last a Day or so then go away. Can drinking bring on Fits of depression days later?

I don't have too many of them but they itch! The ones on my arm are smaller and skin colored. I have a couple on the backside of my hand. 2 that look like welts on my ankle (I think that's from scratching it) and like 3 on my leg. My fiance has them too- same spots, but more. I have looked into scabies, bed bugs and fleas.. I don't know that it's any one of them. Does anyone know what is could possibly be? Thanks..

i get my attacks at anytime anywhere. they just come out of the blue. i can't figure out what triggers them. i tried therapy, i'm on meds now, 10 mg celexa. the thing that races through my mind while i'm having my attacks is my heart is pounding, i'm going to have a heart attack and die. can any one please give me any techniques, besides the breathing, and imagination thing. thanks!

..other than eating. In school, I eat a snack at break but by the time it is 5th period (before lunch) my stomach is like a storm! And when I take tests, it is so distracting to have my stomach gurgling the entire time. Any techniques on how to somehow stop this?

It seems like denstists are just trying to use their patients to help them pay for their mortgages and Porches.
I used to go to the dentist once or twice a year, and they supposedly found at least one cavity every time i showed up and proceeded to drill holes in my perfectly good teeth and fill them full of mercury. I never once saw a single cavity in any of my teeth, and never ever had a tooth ache. I have not been to a dentist in at least 15 years and magically, i don't have any cavities. I think fillings do more damage than good, especially when there aren't even any cavities in the teeth.
