I can't stop masticating, every 8 hrs. or so I get the overwhelming urge to masticate and I just can't help myself. I'm ashamed to say it, but I've masticated in every room of my house, including the kitchen. I'm beginning to not care whether I masticate in public or not. Am I addicted?

It's really hard to break an addiction that is something you have to do everyday. I have masticated at work, on a train, even in front of my mom. Good luck with your time of crisis.
