I don't have too many of them but they itch! The ones on my arm are smaller and skin colored. I have a couple on the backside of my hand. 2 that look like welts on my ankle (I think that's from scratching it) and like 3 on my leg. My fiance has them too- same spots, but more. I have looked into scabies, bed bugs and fleas.. I don't know that it's any one of them. Does anyone know what is could possibly be? Thanks..

I have 3 cats, had them for 5 years, never had fleas before.. I have checked them, and don't see anything on them.. But I guess it still could be.. Haven't moved recently either..There are other people in the house, and only people showing signs of bumps are my fiance and I..

Sounds like flea bites to me especially when they are on your ankles and legs. Do you own an animal or just moved into a new place

Further:
When we moved into our new home it was infested with fleas (from nearby barn cats who had gotten into the house) The only one in the house who was bitten was me, I almost went crazy with the bites. I had a cat who seemed to tolerate them. This sounds weird but I finally spotted them one night when I was sitting with the lights out and noticed something moving on the floor. If your cats get the flea pills the fleas will eventually die off, Get help from a vet if you discover this s the problem.

Bedbugs usually give a series of bites along a blood vessel. Fleas make random bites, but often around the legs/ankles. You could try to relieve the itching with a VERY HOT (but don't burn yourself) moist compress. I heat a washcloth in the microwave, and use it on mosquito bites. The theory is you're breaking down the anticoagulant enzyme they injected, which is what you react to. Flea bites make a lump, maybe a tiny blister, but usually scab over. The scab is sort of inevitable. The best defense is to bomb the place with an insecticide that has IGR (insect growth regulator) because the poison kills adult fleas and when the eggs hatch, the larvae eat the IGR hormone along with the junk they live off of in upholstery and carpeting. They don't mature, and die as larvae. IGR breaks the cycle and can last for six months. It sounds to me like you're dealing with fleas.

I have to add this, too--fleas don't bite everybody. For some reason, they play favorites. I'm a favorite, can you tell?

Yes, stress is the cause of mesquitos. They will spawn out of people's arms, and legs. They've often been known to bite their creators. The reasons there are much more mesquitos in the summer, is because the stress levels are much higher due to heat. Calm down, and help keep the mesquito population in check.
