About how long would it take to start having side effects once you change birth control? My friend changed B/C pills 24 days ago.. the last 5 days she has been very nauseated, her back has been hurting and she has been very tired. She did not use a back up method of B/C when she changed, do you think this could be from the change? Or a possibility of pregnancy? I personally think the side effects would be right away.. not nearly a month later..... Thanks!

I am a legal secretary by day a waitress by night and a dance teacher on weekends.. i often get cold-like symptoms every other week.. followed by extreme fatigue..is that lack of sleep or vitamins?.. I am otherwise healthy.

In the last week it seems it's always present... my finger or thumb "jerks" slightly every 0.5 to 4 seconds or so. It seems to vary in frequency depending on whether I'm at rest... or sometimes it seems random. Of course I'm going to see a doctor about it, but in the meantime, what are some things it could be? Possibly Parkinson's?
(I'm 28, and in pretty good health.)

this is for a friend of mine: could anyone offer more information on this eye condition: for years my eyes have not been able fix on an object and one of my eyes tends to wander off to the side. a while back the optician said that there was an operation that could be performed to cut sone of the muscles in the eye so that both eyes can fix on an object (what is this surgery/procedure called?) could someone offer more information about the operation such as whether they put you to sleep and if it painful in any way. It's not that I fear dying on a plane. I do know that it's very safe to travel by plane. Safer than all other forms of travel.

However when I get on a plane, my heart races, my palms sweat and I get very scared. More so than I could possibly explain to anyone. I feel like I'm constantly falling and sometimes, if the weather is very bad, I even privately cry.

It's horrible to have this fear but I know I'm not alone. I can't take my normal sedative (used only when I fly) because I'm four months pregnant.

But I'm hoping in the next month, I will find some really excellent ways of getting through the flight and calming myself.

I'm really hoping for good answers from others with the same fear who've found ways that have really worked for them.

I lay down alot and put my feet up...everyday I wake up with back pains and neck pains. They aren't severe but than later in the day I begin to have headaches sometimes and the neck pains begin to get worse.

I sleep on my side always and I use 2 pillows or I sleep on my stomach I can't sleep on my back! I never do!

My friend is taking Risperdal, the doc didn't say what she suffers from but she has delusions and she also heard or saw things we didn't. She also thought she was spied on and being harmed.

The side effect she has is mainly dizziness. Anybody has the same / other experience with the drug or in a similar condition?

For the past few days I am constantly hungry no matter what i eat for eg from subway i had a footlong a 6 inche 3cookies and i couldnt put my tummie in but still i was craving for food. I aint obese or fat i just have a tummie.I used to eat a lot before but i used to be full for the whole night now i get hungry every time ... i just had a huge plate of rice .. then again .. then again ... but still i am craving for food ... damn i am scared ... are these symptoms of diabeties. This all started the day i stopped drinking coke .. the answer is kinda obvious but still i wont to be certain
i got some doctors advice in the previous question .. he dint make much sense but still it kinda helped ... please if some professional doctor or guy who knows about diabeties related to thyroid please write what eva u noe ... my mother had ... still has thryroid problem but no one had any ilness of this kind in my family that was serious like diabeties

I stopped taking it because i had extreme shortness of breath, nervousness, and my heart pounded so fast and loud i thought i was going to die. now, every time someone scares me or i'm alarmed, those same feelings come back and i feel like im going to die. its not a panic attack, but it feels like my heart is going so fast that its going to stop. whats going on? what should i do? i told my doctor and all she said was to discontinue using it. it's not fair because i used rhinocort to clear up sinuses, not to have a heart problem. is it going to go away? please help me im so scared.
