No, as long as you're not vomitting a million times a day.
It should be fine. Eat some solid food, like eggs, and try not to dehydrate.

We all get sick. And we all throw up every so often. It's not bad.
Sometimes we HAVE to vomit in order to get rid of a poisonous substance that may have been swallowed.
Sometimes people are bulimic. Vomiting repeatedly is very bad. It rids your body of the food that you need. Also when you vomit, the acids from your stomach can wear down the enamel on your teeth.
--------------------------
Here are the complications of vomiting:
Dehydration. Vomiting causes the body to lose water quickly.
Electrolyte imbalance. Vomiting also causes the body to lose the important salts it needs to keep working properly.
Peptic esophagitis. The esophagus (the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach) becomes injured from the stomach acid that comes up with the vomit.
Hematemesis. The esophagus becomes irritated and bleeds, so blood mixes with the vomit.
Mallory-Weiss tear. The lower end of the esophagus may tear open or the stomach may bruise from vomiting or retching.
Tooth decay. The acid in the vomit can hurt the teeth by corroding the tooth enamel.

If you're sick, "once every blue moon", your body is just getting rid of "poisons". However, if you are vomitting regularly or inducing vomitting, yes, this is very bad for your body. You could cause great damage to your internal organs in the long run.

Everyone gets sick occasionally.
It's when it becomes a regular thing that problems happen.
The acid in your stomach is supposed to stay there, but when it comes out through your esophagus, then it can cause burns. These will develop into ulcers and then into possible cancer with repeated dousings of stomach acid.
After so long, it requires surgery to fix.
Also, prolonged vomitting causes dehydration, which can be deadly.
No, it's not a good thing to have happen more than every now and then.

yes, it CAN bebad for your body. however, just occasional vomiting, like when you get one of those 24 hour things( really usually food poisoning) there won't be enough damage to warrant worrying about. If you are vomiting on a regualr basis, though, it can, and does erode the lining of the esophagus, causing burns and ulcers, take the enamel off your teeth, and upset the mineral balance in your body, causing you to not absorb any foods you do manage to keep down. it can also cause diarrhea, since your internal balance has been thrown off, which in turn can cause erosion of the bowels, ulcers, and bile getting into your bloodstream thus destroying red blood cells.

Vomiting is your body's way of expelling whatever it is that is causing you to be sick in the first place. So in that sense it is not bad for you... But when you force yourself to throw up too often then it becomes bad, because your throwing up things that your body needs, and the stomach acids are bad for your teeth.

It is good to vomit. Vomit as often as necessary. But it's bad if you vomit everyday, and several times a day. Never make yourself vomit. But when you do vomit, it is good for your body. That means that your body is getting rid if toxins. Toxins make you have to vomit, and vomiting gets rid of toxins. But too much bomiting makes you dehydrate, and it could some how and for some reason ruin your voicebox. Do you vomit often? Go to the doctor if you do.

There is no really bad harm if you get sick once in a while. Your throat will feel weird for a little while because of all the acids but that's about it.

Vomiting just for the sake of vomiting is unhealthy, it gets rid of necessary enzymes, acids, etc., from your stomach. If you are occassionally sick, vomiting is getting rid of various toxins or substances that are irritating your stomache.
