what types of things could I eat on a healthy, yet filling low carb diet? does it actually work? im tying to lose 30 pounds in three months, with excersize, is that do-able?

LIke if some dude found out he was HIV positive and actually cares about his former partners status, how should he tell them?

True story from MTV.
A guy, (will name him Mr. Pink), hated (Mr. Blue). Mr. Pink slept with Mr. Blue's man, Mr. Grey. Mr. Blue just found out he was HIV positive. Mr. Pink brags "I had sex with your man", Mr. Blue in double shock now, all he says is "Get yourself tested. I am not kidding, I just found out I am HIV+"

Admittedly, I've been drinking nothing but pepsi and iced tea for like, two weeks. My urine is foul smell, and a little cloudy, but it doesn't burn or anything. I am prone to UTIs around my period, and I will say that I am almost a month late. I am not sexually active, but have used toys involving penetration and am only saying this because I know it can lead to urinary tract issues.

My physician stated that douching is not good for women because it cleans out the bad bacteria as well as the good. She stated that we need the good to help clean out the bad and to keep the area moist. If this is true, then what are women suppose to use on those days when you feel as though you aren't clean enough?

My sister says your total cholesterol should be your HDL + LDL. However, on my last blood test, my HDL + LDL was 10 points lower than my total cholesterol. So, I found some web sites that have the following formula:

HDL + LDL + (Triglyceride * 20%) = Total Cholesterol

The formula above does work to give me my total cholesterol given the other #'s (HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides) on my last blood test results. But, I want to know why my sister's always come back as:

HDL + LDL = Total Cholesterol

Some web sites say to calculate it one way and others say the other way. Anyone know why they would be different?

i do not ever take alcohol or drugs and have some high liver count and ultrasound showed an enlarged liver. feel great however and no evidence of a problem but need to see a gastro dr. for his advice i was told and i need to go for the colon test after age 50 i am told anyway.

Lately I have been sleeping more, taking naps...sleeping 10-15 hrs per day. I've been smoking black & mild cigars throughout my pregnancy and now i'm scared that my baby will have problems. I think about it all the time but I just couldn't quit. I had alot of stress going on with my family and I had no one there for me to lean on. My baby's dad wasn't even there so I was alone. Smoking kept me calm. The doctor said that my baby was doing fine but I still have nightmares. What do you think? I've slowed down alot on smoking.
