the real name is menstral cycle. this is the breaking down of the females uterus, it comes out of the women in the form of blood through the virgina. she sees this every 28 days . when she doesnt see this every month , she can be pregnant. does that answer ur question?

maybe you mean the kind where an egg . that size doesn't get fertilized and then the womans body has to get rid of all the blood that went there preparing for a baby to get attached there. So it bleeds out for a week or so.
