A child at my childrens' school was found to have headlice. how likely is it that my boys will get it and get our family infeseted. There is NO signs of it on them now or anyone else in the family. What can I do to help lessen the likelyhood that we will get it???

Since I work a lot and have to stand on my feet for four hours straight, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, since I've been working there for months and my things never acting up before, but I did just recently work a lot for Thanksgiving. Anyway just the end of last week, they've been hurting all the time and I feel random shooting pains around the outer thighs and inner thighs, and they just flat out hurt. The pains wont go away. Should I be worried?

I have been nauseous for the past maybe week or so, and when I look at food, or think of food, it makes me feel dizzy and nauseous. I'm not anorexic or anything like that, because don't get me wrong, food is AWESOME. One of my room mates has been sick with bronchitis, but we've stayed away from him, and disinfected everything in the house. I have a tightness in my chest that's inexplicable. Not to mention, migraines, stomach cramps, and fatigue. Could this be the flu, or something different?

4 yrs ago I vistited my doctor for major insomnia usually consisting of minimum 4 days without an ounce of sleep.It started out with the Dr giving me anti-depressants (he says) due to stress(I was not?) I was givin 200 mg of zoloft and 300 mg of wellbutrin,100mg of trazadone at first and gained about 60 lbs within 1 month. Suddenlly I was now experiencing depression and agoura-phobia and still no relief with sleep. My dr then added to the mix 100 mg of serzone and 10 mg of ambien and .5 mg of xanax 4 times a day. I did go to a hormone specialist to see if that had a play in my depression but everthing checked out ok.Before this I have always been the most energetic positive outgoing and always enjoying life and very muscular and small size 2-4. My life seems to have changed forever. Can this be permanent? I attempted getting off all meds causing violent sickness. I finally found a dr praticing EFT and NET. Am off all meds now with nos sickness but still majorly depressed and hopeless

i wake up every now and then in my sleep crying.....bawling even...sometimes its a bad dream but nothing too bad and i wake up bawling like if something big happened. i was told that i sometimes yell at night too.... i can't find any information on the net.. can anyone give me any site to look it up... tried the obvious web md btw..lol....=)

snacks that are about 100 calories?
examples are light yoplait yogurt, instant oatmeal packages, and most pieces of fruit.
I also like ham rolled up in light bread.

Hello,

After my first child was born, it took 2 years to lose all the weight. But the skin on the lower part of my belly stayed loose, sagging, and wrinkled. Because of this, I had a really hard time finding pants that fit because my belly would "hang over" the waist of my pants. If I bought larger waisted pants to fit over my sagging belly, they would eventually slide down and once again rest below the sagging belly.

Now I'm pregnant with baby #2 and I'm carrying low (1st baby was also low). I can see that this problem is going to continue again because my very pregnant belly is sagging.

What can I do (plan to do) to make sure that when I lose the weight this time, my belly will move back up to its original location and the skin will tighten up. Is it possible that last time I took too long to lose the weight? Should I try to lose it faster this time?

My son is only 5 years old and he is diagnosted ITP last year since then, he is addmitted in hospital more than 4 times. His platelets go down as low as 8000. Doctors gave him alot of different medicine but each time he treated his platelets jump to around 80,000 or sometime cross 100,000 but within a month or two it comes down. we are riding in a roller coaster since then. We are giving him chiness herbs too since last 6 months but nothing is working.

My 23 year old daughter has just come back from her third visit to the doctors, her blood test results have shown that she has very low iron, and this is why she is feeling so down at the moment, her doctor wants her to go to have a camera down her throat to see if they can find anything that may be causing this.
Does this sound like anything that anyone else has had?
Would you like to share your thoughts on this with me ?
I am not normally the worrying kind but I must confess to been slightly concerned especially as my daughter has lost so much weight recently and looks so worn out.

I'm looking to get lower eyelid surgery to fix a hereditary issue that I have and I was wondering if anybody could tell me about their experiences, or even just pass along knowledge. I know it'll be rather costly, but i'm hoping it won't be ridiculously expensive, and i'm also starting to look for surgeons, but am having trouble knowing what to really look for. Thanks!
