There is no idea pant size. You might be short waisted that would give you a "thick" waist line, etc. However, my suggestion to you is get your BMI (Body Mass Index) done. The adverage women who live a moderate life style should have between 20-24% body fat. We are all build different, don't compare yourself to anyone else.. Just feel good about you. I know that Herbilife people do BMI's for free. I don't know how to contact them, but check their website for a local near you. That is what Suggest, it will help you staying your healthiest. You will also know what your body burns in calories at a resting state. That is important info as well.

Here is a general formula for you:
proper weight = { [((height in inches)-59) * 5] + [(her family's wealth on scale of 0-10, 0 being upper middle class and 10 being billionaires) + 80] + [her education on scale of 1-5, 0 being any-college grad and 5 being rhodes scholar] }.
you can figure out pants sizes from there
good luck!

Your question makes me stop and think. Why? Because I am somewhat fanatical about my weight also. I am what everyone calls the perfect size - not fat, not thin, not too tall, not too short, not heavy, but not what I want to weigh anyway.
The thing is that whatever advice I give to you, I ought to follow myself. And that is, you probably are just the right size to everyone else but not to yourself. Isn't that crazy?
I suspect that you don't need to change anything of significant importance. When you look in the mirror, train yourself to see yourself perfect and beautiful regardless of what may not look as it did 'yesterday'. As someone else said, all women are beautiful and I feel certain you already know and see beauty in youself.
To you and to me, I say, "Love yourself just as you are and grow gracefully and graciously!"

If you are 5'8" you would appear thin if you weighed 120-140. I know some people like that look but I prefer a healthier look. You should weigh whatever you are comfortable with, and able to be active with.

Somewhat depending on how old you are, the best weight is the maximum weight that would still allow you to skip rope none stop for a minimum of three minutes.
