For the last three nights, my daughter has complained about having these sharp pains, going through her head and they seem to come at nighttime. She said the pain is so bad that she can't sleep, ibuprofen and any other pain medication, doesn't seem to work. It's starting to worry me and I can't figure out, why it only comes at nighttime, what could it be and should I wait before taking her to the doctors?

I thought it might be kidney stones, but I was told it would start from the back and I would have problems urinating which I do not. I am 29 years old, and is has persisted for 2-3 months now. It is a 2 3 max on a 10 point scale, and I was left with a doctor asking me for stool samples saying I either have irritable bowel syndrome, or maybe parasites, i dont think it is either, and Im pretty sure I dont have a hernia because I have no muscle pain in the area no matter how hard i press, it feels like it is deep within me.

i have this constant itchy throat problem and it makes it hard to take a deep breath with an itch going on and sometimes i cant swallow. yikes cough drop makes it worse and after a day of it my ears started to itch as well. here and there i tend to wake up with a stuffed up nose and cough. o and when the itch comes it makes me cough til puke come out of no where. i puked at thanksgiving and two times after that. it itched that bad. HELP!

My right index finger was jammed 6 weeks ago playing volleyball. It still hurts and I can not make a complete fist...when I bend it a lump pops up on my knuckle...moving my finger from side to side is painful, as well as bending it....since its been six weeks, should I even bother having it looked at...will this ever go away????

i take ovcon 35 as a contraceptive and i find it hard to take it at the same time everyday. i sometimes forget for weeks at a time or not want to take it cuz it makes me nauscious. then i'll start taking it again. and then stop. i kno this is affecting my period, but can doing this really harm me? can not having my period for a while because of my carelessness with the pill hurt me or cause problems?
