For the last three nights, my daughter has complained about having these sharp pains, going through her head and they seem to come at nighttime. She said the pain is so bad that she can't sleep, ibuprofen and any other pain medication, doesn't seem to work. It's starting to worry me and I can't figure out, why it only comes at nighttime, what could it be and should I wait before taking her to the doctors?

No don't wait!!!! I have dealt with that my whole life, mine is migrains. Your daughter could be suffering migrains or it could be a tumor or blood clot, there are so many different things it could be. Get her to a doctor as soon as you can, if it turns out ot be migrains then they can tell you about different triggers that set them off. Please don't wait because time could be of the essence!!!!!!!!!!
