i have had the examination and surgery . my wife is a very timid woman and easily scared she is to undergo this test monday. should i warn her the test is very painful or keep my mouth shut?please answer only if you have had this expierence yourself.

my cousin is 8 yr old and da docters said she has to have a bone marrow donner,(she has cancer) and what would u have to do o see if u could be a donner. i really want her to live her life knowing she is a cancer survior, she tells everyone not to worry about her that she is going to b ok, and it is so sad to c her in the hospital bed her face swollen from all the cemo she has to have. and another sad thing is that she has a very serious case of cancer also so i just want to know what i have to do to b tested and does it er will it hurt.
none of my family does not understand y it had to happen to her because she goes to church every sunday and listens to the preacher and her sunday school teachers and loves to go to church. now she got this tooken away form her like someone stoll something from her. now that she has to stay in the hospital everyday, she is learning how to read the bible. she was just an angel that loved everyone and cared for everything that was not ment 2 have cancer

A girl I know has tested positive for HSV2 (genital herpes) and she also works as an escort. She has taken the IgG test and is claiming the results of that test has pinpointed her infection date to within the last 6-8 weeks. Is there any health professional out there that can confirm this fact? All my information states that she could have contracted this virus at any time. My biggest concerns are that she is continuing to work as an escort and she is only contacting the people she has seen in the last 6-8 weeks. Please cite any references to substantiate answers. I am baking the Thanksgiving turkey tonight, and it will be done around 2am. Once it's done, I plan to put it on the table until noon tomorrow. All of my family is meeting at my house and I'm in charge of fixing the turkey. My sister says it will make all of us sick if I don't refrigerate it instead. Will the turkey really go bad in that short amount of time?

From the tip of my thumb down to my wrist is so stiff all the time and starts to hurt after a while. The docter suspects carpal tunnel but I need to see a nerologist before anything. But I dont have health insurance to cover that. Is there any ways to help loosen up the joints or the bones or whatever it is?

I'm sure that the pharmacy industry could easily manufacture high grade "feel good" chemicals similar to opiates that would have no negative side effects. Why would anyone want to hold them back? Is there anything wrong with manufacturing pure happiness???

I was wondering how long h might live. he is sixty-six years old. he has had three strokes and eight heart attacks in ten years.he also drank for his seven years in the marines and picked up smoking. he stopped drinking when he married my grandmother, but his smoking escelated untill he was smoking two pack a day for nearly fourty-three years. however, he stopped smoking when hy youngest sister was born. that was ten years ago. he has no large intestine, two chambers of his heaart dont work, and he just rammed a rusty screwdriver six inches in his hand. i was thionking that he wouldn't live past 2007, but i was wondering weather he would live any longer. please help, i love my grandfather and i want to spend as much time as i can with him. but i want to know how long that would be.

My father had a very difficult time deciding to go ahead with his triple heart by pass as my mother (his wife of 44 years) had been admitted into a hospice after battling melanoma cancer for 8 years. On the morning my father was taken away for surgergy my mother passed away. My father awoke from surgery to be informed Mum had passed. He has always been a very fit man his whole life and is continuing to exercise however the complexity of his situation has meant that he is often lacking energy probably suffering a little depression not that he would ever say that. He also suffered a virus and infection in the lung which delayed his recovery further. He is desperate to find a book that gives you a guide on how far you can push exercise after open heart surgery as he is keen to get back into it but does not feel his body is up for it which I believe is more psychological than physical. Does anyone have any books they could recommend on this subject???

My brother in law was sent to the hospital because of leg swelling and a "ball" in his stomach. He's been there since last night. At this point, from whatever my sister in law can manage to word through tears, is that he has masses in his leg, one in his stomach pushing on his bladder, and in both lungs. She mentioned lymphoma, knows she hear perhaps Hodgkins but isn't sure. (She's really not with it.) They scheduled a biopsy for Friday. Does this seem really advnced? Does it sound like any of the lymphomas? He's had no outward symptoms. Please help!! Any info is appreciated. We are going nuts thinking his survival rates aren't good.

Is there any way to clean your throat? I mean I have post nasal drip and its stuck in the back of my throat. Ive been to my ENT and i got some nasal spray for my stuffy nose and it helped but i still have PND. Its nasty, i can taste it and its makin my breath smell. I need help. Is there any type of home remedy. I already drink lots of water and use a saline spray. So how do i clear it from the back of my throat and get rid of the taste and smell?
