Simple diet and exercise. Just remeber its not so much what u eat. As how much u eat. Anything in moderation is fine even chocalate and cheeseburgers. Most people think u need to eat lots of vegetables and fruits. You should have these vitamins but what u really need to do if u wish to lose weight is. Figure out what your daily calorie intake is and not eat more than the aloted calories. Then with exercise. You will drop the pounds easily. In my case I'm 27 and semi fit so I only need about 1800 to 1400 calories a day. When I was in the military and very active I ate antwhere from 2200 to 3200 calories a day. i am not nearly as active as I was so I have dropped my calorie intake to make up for the lack of exercise.

Yes cardio and weights but the issue is energy and recovery.
The best answers I've found are:
A) A good protein powder or BCAA (Branched Chan Amino Acids) . They're capsules you can get in any health or supplement store for under $10.00.
B) Black (or tart) cherry juice or black cherry concentrate. It's a powerful anti-inflammatory and greatly reduces recovery (and pain) after a workout.
C) Actyl-L Carnitine. Another capsule you can get for under $15 a bottle that will definitely give you an increase in overall energy and stamina.

You can do almost anything that raises your heartrate or makes you sweat! If you can't go to the gym, try other things. Jump rope, clean the house, get outside and run, walk, rake, sweep, or wash your car. These things will obviously not do anything for someone who is really in shape but if you have a lot to lose they're great ways to start. Good luck!

I know this might sound silly but you can just drink cold water along with your healthy foods. When the water is cold your body burns fat when heating the water.
I hope this helps :-)

Do alot of cardio. I found the best method via machines is the ellyptical crosstrainer. It's great and burns calories among the best of them. Good luck!

Eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Exercise regularly and don't skip meals to keep your metabolism up. Massage can also increase your metabolism if you get one on a regular basis.

Best advice I could ever give you... Join a martial art... its an intense workout but its also tons of fun so you are more likely to stick with it... plus, karate isnt that expensive... it only costs me $30 a month...
