My boss came in with a bottle of pepto this morning and said that she's been sick (vomitting and hot/cold flashes) for 2 days. I think it might be the flu. I work in a fairly small office with her, and I really don't want to be sick for the holidays. There is no chance that she will leave. What can I do to protect myself?

I'm 9 years old and 4' 5" My mom's side of the family is really tall, my mom's almost 5' 7". But my dad's side of the family is really short. My aunts from my dad's side are like 4' 11" or 5' or something like that. But my aunts from my mom's side are like 5' 6" or 5' 7". My uncles from her side are like 6' or something like that, and her father and cousins are all really tall. I did this thing on the computer and it said i'll be about 5' 5". But my sister's only 5' 2" and she's 18 years old. So how tall do you think i'll grow?

my mum just diagnosed with thyroid (hyper). I am very worried.

1) How can I be more sensitive towards her?
2) is her being a vegetarian part of the cause of this thyroid?
3) should she take up western medication or chinese medication?
4) is there any good medical medicine that u'll recommend?
5) what kind of food should she avoid?
6) what kind of food she should take?

I will appreciate if any nurse/doctor or any experience reader will actually advise this unfilial daughter of hers.

I take a shower about 3 times per day during the summer, and about 2 times throughout the year. Whenever I take only take one shower, it has to be in the morning.

Today, for some reason, there was no water. It’s 40 F, and I took a shower last night. It’s not like I was all sweaty, yet I feel so uncomfortable right now. There was only enough water coming out from the bathroom sink for me to wet my hair, wash my armpits, and feet. I hear some people only shower once at night, I could just never do that.

How do some not shower in the morning?

I have tried every over-the-counter medication and prescription nail product that you apply over/on the nail, incl. White Iodine, tea tree oil, peroxide, lamisil cream, Penlac Nail Laquer & none of them have worked. I know you have to do it over a long period because of the slow nail growth, so I have. My doctors won't prescribe the Lamisil tablets for me because I'm diabetic and take too many other oral medications that can affect the liver. This drives me crazy, because I live in the tropics where we wear sandals most of the time. Aslo sometimes it's painful & very itchy. Lately I lost a toe nail, now it's starting to grow back & looks awful. Any MD's out there? Plz help.

This occurs day(s) after a sexual intercourse with my partner. I sometimes think it's cos of my penetration during occational dryness when she's not fully aroused but even when she's wet, I still get bruises that heals off in days and leaves me peelig off dry skin again. Hello. First off I know I need to just go see a doctor, but I dont have one and I cant afford to go to the ER everytime my heart feels like hurting. I'm hopeing someone here will know what I have or at least an idea so I can research it and treat it till I can afford a doctor.

Heres my problem... Every year or so my heart will start beating really hard and fast to the point it makes me whole body shake. If you were to look at me you would see me shhakin, thats how bad it does it. Also it feels like heartburn when it first starts then progresses to a very painful heartburn feeling. The pain is horendous. It usually only last like 4 -5 minutes but last night before I went to bed this happened and lasted about 2 hours ( the non stop heavy beating) the pain lasted all night till i woke up just now. I did call the hospital one time to explain this and she said it sounded like smething ( i dont remember the name, only that it was 3 letters to shorten the name ) Please only serious rep.

2 weeks ago I had saline breast implants. I was just in a pretty bad car accident last night (I am o.k. other than pain and one swollen breast).

My chest impacted the steering wheel along with other parts of my neck and head. I will be going to the surgeon shortly however he can't do much except play the waiting game (if there is a leak etc..).

I wanted to know if anyone else has been through a vehicle accident with saline implants and have you had long term side effects?
