I have seen some herbal products does't have quality mark provided by the gov so this means its quality can't be measured.but i hav listened that herbal products are good for health.so tell me is there any need of quality mark in herbal products.Is herbal written on pack itself is a quality mark.

Apparently only two doctors in the US currently perform this procedure - one in south Florida (www.vitreousfloaters.com), the other in the Washington DC area (www.eyefloaters.com). These websites would have me believe the scarcity of doctors here is due to the high degree of skill necessary to obliterate the tiny floaters safely and effectively using a potentially very damaging instrument (the laser device). Yet while the safety of this procedure (in experienced hands) seems well documented, it is less clear how genuinely effective the treatment is.

I have had numerous floaters of the "squiggly lines" variety for over a decade. Despite being very nearsighted, my eyes are otherwise healthy. I'm strongly considering a visit to Dr. Karickhoff (the eye doctor in DC), but would be interested to hear from others who have had this procedure, or who know anything about how effective it really is.

Total abdominal hysterectomy and was put on everol patches 100mcg day after. Since then I have had aching legs, more painful in my thighs. This keeps me awake at night. I am walking everyday for 30 mins and feel very mobile and well since the op, other than still have a large tummy which I know will go down in time. Any ideas on why legs are aching, has anyone else experienced this?

Two or three times a year I have to take a few ays off work because I'm so mentally tired - I just can't think straight and do very absent-minded things. I feel guilty - because I'm not actually ill - just incapable of functioning properly. After a couple of days - I'm back on form. I always put this down to my body fighting a virus (and my body usually wins!) but it knocks the stuffing out of me in the process. I rarely if ever have any colds, sore throats etc. Does this sound feasible? Any doctors out there?

I had my wisdom teeth extraction on the 15th, now it's the 20th and I am still in pain. Not a lot, but about moderate, constant pain. I am still taking my pain pills though, but don't ABSOLUTELY need them, I could PROBABLY get by with just taking Advil. My entire mouth is dried out, no matter how much water I drink. My gums stopped bleeding the middle of day 3. What do you do if you have dry socket? Does it go away on it's own or do you have to see the dentist?

Also, I have this funky taste in my mouth. Almost bitter, metalic tasting.

Thanks you for all the responses so far. Took advice went to the doc. He thought it might be a cyst put a needle in but was unable to extract anything. He then phoned a specialist sho said i should see him as soon as possible. Apparantly he is going to make a small incision and send away for biopsy. anyone been through this and able to give advice as to what is going to happen. Specialist apparantely told doc that if he does the check etc he will decide how soon it should be removed. Is this normal?
