I personally use ALEVE Cold & Sinus when the first hint of cold or sinus problems start... and I follow through even when I start feeling better. And I also use Vicks brand VapoRub... a tad under each nostril and eachnight I rub it on my chest, neck after having a warm shower and getting ready for bed. I drink lots of water even though I don't want any. And I eat Chicken Noodle soup, primarily the juice. I carry the Vapo Rub so I can inhale it and place a dab under each nostril.

But if u gone too far where ur mucous is green... sinusitis is not fun and a quick antibotic will clear. Puffs are soothing to the nostrils. Get plenty of rest, and eating proper will mend your health.

If your sinuses are painful you could have a sinus infection or sinusitis. You need to go to the pharamcy/pharmacist and pick up some sudafed. You can try a nasal spray but you cannot use those for more than 3 days. If the pain is bad consider getting checked at the docs office if the sudafed doesn't take care of it.

Saline washes. Best to use sea salt thant can be bought in the grocery store or just saline mist from the medicine section in the store. Also, a hot shower or exercise unclog noses.

Motrin for the pain

If your mucus is yellow or green, then you have a sinus infection and you should see a doctor. If not, there are plenty of over-the-counter medications you should try. Don't use anything like Afrin. That will cause rebound sinus stuffiness and only make you feel worse. If you don't have a sinus infection, try Sudafed. Also try a saline-only spray to help loosen the mucus and get it out. You can also try Mucinex-D. There's lots out there.
