What are the dangers or cautions for eating TOO much fish?

You're right about your statement. "Moderation in all things" is a very good rule of thumb. As far as fish go, I'd say if it were safe with mercury levels and you didn't fry it in saturated fats, it would be ok to eat fish all of the time. There are many cultures that only have seafood to eat and very little else. Shellfish can contribute to gout also, don't forget. But normally, cultures that eat a lot of fish have less heart disease and other problems than a "regular" American diet. I can't speak for anyone else. Godloveya.

A lof od fish are high in fat. Although most of it is poluunsaturated fat, a higher than normal amount of any kind of fat will bring down your metabolism and lead to sevaral problems
