My doctor says that the pain in my shoulder is Tendonitis and I should just take some ibuprofen and it will go away - this was months ago! The pain is still there and I don't know what to do! I will try anything!!

People have a wrong idea of what Vertigo is. It is a condition that is all in the head. It starts with fluid or something in the inner ear that prevents the mechanism for balance to work properly! I have vertigo and can tell you it's like some hitting you with a brick when that PANG of dizziness hits you! I've been hospitalized for it, nausea, hyperventilating... It's not pleasant! By the way, Allegra is the preventative cure for Vertigo! It dries up the area that causes the problem... No one should have to suffer with periodic dizzy attacks that prevent them from living a normal happy life! I put this out there because lately I've run into more and more people who have this problem. A simple non-drowsy anti-histamine is all you need!

I have been looking into it for my son. He has cerebral palsy. I've heard that it helps the brain. I'm just wondering if there's anyone who has used this therapy and if it has worked of at least helped a little bit.

I got hit in the lower leg twice on one day by a hockey puck, and I wasn't wearing my hockey pads. My doc wants to send me for a bone scan as he says it could be a stress fracture.

Would getting hit by a puck pretty hard twice be enough to cause a stress fracture? I thought those happen when a person all of a sudden increases physical activity.

I'm thinking It may be ligament pain. How can you tell bony pain from ligament pain?

I have three young children and I am a full time employee. My boyfriend of two years is in love with me and has told me that he is very attracted to me. Can you still eat or do you just eat less? I heard different answers. 1 girl said she couldn't eat anything except broth and another said she ate 1 tablespoon of food and that was too much.
I think there are betters ways to lose weight but I am curious about how this works.

Ive just finished college and Im going to start applying for jobs. Everyone I know that works in the field Im going into said they had to do a medical prior to getting there jobs, during with time they had to tell state what medication they are taking. I know its not a big deal taking antidepressants, but there is still a bit of a stigma around them, Im afraid I may be turned down for jobs if I tell 'em Im taking pills? Do I have to tell them?

i had my first postnatel smear test yesterday (had a baby by cesearean 8 weeks ago)and had sex with my husband last night, we are using condoms when he pulled out there was bright red blood. i only lost a small amount and its not my period as it has stopped today. any ideas? has anyone else bled after a smear?

Hello, thank you all in advance for helping me.

I am a 30 year old Male and I just got a physical and my bloodwork came back with some bad results in my Iron Profile. Here are the results:

TIBC: 231 (250-450 is normal range)
Iron Saturation: 39 (15 - 55 is normal range)
UIBC: 142 (150-375 is normal range)

They are bringing me back in for a Iron Profile with Ferrintin. I am wondering what does these mean? Is this indicative of cancer? Chronic Disease? This is what my research showed. Then I spoke to the dr... The doctor doesn't sound to positive about these results at my age. They are thinking it malignancy, chronic disease and the such. Needless to say I am quite upset. I figure the blood doesn't lie...

Any thoughts on this from people who know what this means?

I am 20 years old and a short 5,2, i weigh between 8s 12lbs to 9s. my weight goes up and down a couple of pounds every now and then. i am a size 10-12 - (mainly 12) and have alot of fat on my stomach which is depressing me soo much. i always wear a jacket on everywhere i go including inside - even in the summer, because i dont want others to see it. what should i do??? i hate being fat!
