You tell me. i got them from my pregnancy and haven't been able to get rid of them since. I tried cocoa butter, Vita-K, and Mederma...and nothing has worked. The only thing I have heard works, is laser surgery. Which is very costly.

Ooohhhh.... this is always a hard one. They do fade, but if you're dark complected they will still show up as white lines and the texture doesn't really go back. I've done my research and after this baby is born am considering my options. There is no magic lotion or cream (I have tried them all and mine aren't even bad), but there are lasers that are supposed to help and also microdermabrasion can also help I've read. For new ones that are still red, see if your doctor will give you a prescription for Retin-A which is supposed to help as well. The catch is you can't use it while pregnant or breastfeeding and it only works on "fresh" ones.

You can't get rid of them. They get lighter but u might as well get used to them. I''ve had them since I was 11 and they're still here. You could get creams to lighten them if they're still red. Mine aren't actually that more noticeable on my stomach ever since I put on Cocoa Butter.

Creams containing Vitamin E and time. Creaming while the skin expanded was critical to keep it elastic, now Vitamin E and maybe collagen will help. Time and toning now. Depending on your skin type, they may remain slightly visible for many years.
