Forget the pills and myths. Eat plenty of fiber (fruits and vegetables) and drink plenty of water. Our bodies are designed to cleanse itself with a balanced diet. Eating fiber allows proper digestive and bowel movement. Drinking water aids the fiber to help pass along what we have consumed.

Water is also the biggest factor involved for "detoxifying" our body. Many people believe we mush detox our system. This is a myth. The liver automatically does that when it is supplied with enough water. A well balanced diet goes a long wat to proper health.

Your colon is self-cleaning. Putting anything in it to "cleanse" it is dangerous and unnecessary. You can seriously alter your body's potassium, sodium and chloride balance by trying to "clean" the colon. We have a mechanism in our bowels that constantly "sweeps" waste from our bodies out through the colon and into the toilet. Unless you are having bowel problems, don't mess with it. If you are having problems, go to a gastroenteroligist (a doctor who specializes in bowel/colon problems). You are playing with fire.

"Cleaning" the colon is pure rubbish...a colon does not need any cleaning! Cleaning it strips out the good bacteria essential for hralth and effective digestion. Its yet another fad invented for the gullible by the greedy!!!

You can buy a 10 oz. bottle of calcium citrate at the drug store, drink it, and wait for the cleansing action to begin. Please stay close to the throne when you do this. Oh, yes, be sure not to eat anything for about 8 hours before doing this. This is a prep some doctors do for a colonoscopy where they need it really clean for viewing.

Most doctors/physicians would recommend a product called "Fleet". It is what they prescribed for my wife to take over the counter before she had a colonoscopy and a hemherroid ectomy. You can mix it in any "clear" fluids (ie. Sprite, 7-Up, water, etc...).

***CAUTION**** = STAY VERY CLOSE TO THE PORCELAIN GOD, AS YOU WILL BE FREQUENTING IT AND NEGOTIATING FUTURE MEETINGS WITH IT!!

Hope this helps.
