I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

diets are cool and all...but you have to exercise if your going to keep the weight off.

I would suggest going on the Atkins diet and do induction for a couple of weeks. Then do the south beach diet and stick with that for awhile.

In the meantime get a gym membership and or make sure your going for a walk 3-5 times a week...after a bit pick up the pace on your walk to include a little cardio.

Weight lifting builds extra muscle which helps you keep lean the rest of your life.

Do not eat 4-6 hours before bedtime.

I think you mean weight. Anyway to answer your question. You can go on a 1000calorie diet. Works everytime. You can check up the net for the amount of calorie for each food and plan out your meals. I have no link but you can search 'food calorie list' or something along that line on yahoo.

Be smart! Eat healty and exercise! There's no "Miracle Weight Loss". If you try the easy way and starve, or some "Hollywood Diet Plan", you will gain it all back and more.

Go here: http://bodybuilding.com/fun/women.htm . It's a great website for women and it's FREE. They are not all muscleheads and they are VERY friendly.

Good Luck, you can do it!!!!
