Its pretty simple, you watch what you eat and workout. You need to burn more calories in a day than you take in.
Tips:
-drink only water (you can get easily and extra thousand calorie a day from juice and sodas)
-Excersize every day, even if its just a little. Walking around meal time is great. Get on a bike, play tennis, just stay active and don't sit around.
-eat a lot of veggies. Veggies are low in calories and fill you up faster. You can eat a lot more carrots for your calories than you can chocolate.
-eat negative calorie foods. OK, so they are not really negative calories, but your body burns more calories to digest them that are in them, so it balances out to free calories! foods such as apples, radishes, asparagus...

No way are you fat girl. Everyone has their pet hates with their body, yours is your stomach. There cant be too much fat there if you are a size 10 or 12. But if you really unhappy then maybe start doing some exercise, dont cut back on food just go for a run/walk a couple of times a week!

No, that is fine. If you are only size 10-12, you have no worries. You may want to go down to 8 1/2 stone, but you are not too fat or overweight.
What is your waist measurement? You can't have that much fat on your stomach if you are a size 10-12. Maybe you are just insecure about your body, but you sound fine to me. Rather than worry about weight, just concentrate on toning up and keeping in shape. HTH : )

Honey, at your age your body is not quite physically mature - almost but not quite.
Don't worry and fret - be aware, sure, but don't go swallowing whole packets of diet-pills and eating only once a week.
My 24 yr-old daughter is a little "bigger" than "smaller", but she's happy with who she is because she's a size 12 when the national average for her age group is size 16.
If you have a size 10-12 figure you're probably in the demographics of the most attractive young girls in the country - us menfolk like a girl to have hips and boobs, okay?

Your problem is mental. Fashion magazines and movie stars are excessively thin so you think you should look like them. Now you have a very low self image.
No way! Ever see those folks in real life? They look like walking death!! The camera adds a weight so they appear "heavier" than they really are. Also their body type, genetic type, is one that will be rail thin. Additionally, they don't eat before shoots. They are so thin, any food will give them a pooch.
Your body type may be one that will always have a rounded abdomen......look at Egyptian sculptures and paintings. You can fight this by exercising and toning but if your body morphology is to a rounded abdomen, this is you. Liposuction would only remove it temporarily, it would come back. Your body type can't be defeated. However, keeping yourself in the right weight zone, exercising to keep the muscles strong and toned, eating frequently but smaller meals to avoid bloating, will allow you to carry your body beautifully.
Proper clothes selection is also critical. What is fashioable is not always what is best for you. If you are fleshy, don't expose skin!!

Darling, you are the ideal weight for your size - you just need to tone up. Join a gym or do some home exercises like crunching.
Do not get depressed over your weight - you will realise in time that you do have a lovely figure.

No, you're not - you sound like just the right height-to-weight ratio.
However, if you're not happy with how you look (never mind anyone else's opinion - they don't matter) then try some exercises to redistribute the weight you do have - I can heartily recommend swimming or salsa dancing as good ways to trim down your tum - salsa in particular. :) Every salsa club I've been to has been welcoming and non-judgemental, and full of people of all shapes and sizes just wanting to dance and make friends.

Be proud of yourself, at least you're not an unattractive stick-insect - they're really hard to hug!

I am 5'8'', size 10, pushing 30, had a baby 6 months ago and I weigh 9st, in proportion.
Try sit ups - you might be a bit chubby around the waist, but no way obese. Excercise will sort it, and avoid crisps.
