yes if the codeine is not in a pill combined with aceitaminopine (spelling?) the ingrediant in tylenol can cause liver failure if you take too much. If the codeine preparation is 100% codeine your fine otherwise call the pharmacy and make sure.

Be careful! I once took Tylenol 3 (which has codine) after a dentist visit. Something in it reacts with the novicane.... I went back to work and they found me passed out cold at my desk. I had to sleep it off, it took a couple hours, I woke up in our presidents office on his couch. Talk about embarrassing - but could have been scary!

You know it all depends on your body. Most people can safely take 2 tylenols with codeine. However if you can't handle meds to good then I'd advise against it. I've been there and 2 T's with codeine are nothing if your of good size. And definitely tell your dentist and don't drive.

It's fine to take 2 pills (I had surgery last year and was prescribed 2 pills every 4 hours). You'll be more likely to have side effects though - such as constipation and a general feeling of itchiness.

No, I wouldn't mix that. It might be too much medicine. Do you have any orajel? That can numb your gum around the tooth that is hurting until you can make it to the dentist later.
