i have it, it isnt pleasant, and i want to do everything possible to get better quick. Apart from the usual plenty of rest and fluids, are there any tips on how to help my body get rid of these bacteria? What should i eat, what should i take?

I have many symptoms of leukemia, but they can be symptoms of other things, or just random happenings and i'm completly over reacting. I have had blood taken within the past 2 months and was wondering if it would be detected with a regular blood test because Leukemia is cancer in your blood, or is it something that the doctor has to be looking for to catch it?

Last year came accross an RTA on the M/Way whilst travelling to a duty,Triaged patients and one was crittical.A charity frontline ambulance pulled up as we thought to assist,My partner and I asked them to transport patient to hosp with one of us attending as they were only first aiders.We were told by them that they could not do this as thier duty did not start till 1800hrs,incident time was 1745hrs, NHS ambulance arrived on scene at 1810hrs and that crew were dissapointed with the reaction of the charity crews refusal of help,So does that mean in todays sue culture that if a charity ambulance attends an incident they will not help because their duty period has not started,Sorry to go on but it gets me angry that this particular patient got to hopital over one hour after initial injury.This was a true incident,ex paramedic.

my mother want written proof that years of drinking and mixing perscription drugs are distroying her. She has a constant infection in her body. her arms are black, her legs and feet r swolen and black , she has had several back surgeries. she wants a device in her back that will give her the meds she needs. The dr told her she cannot drink any alcahol. I am concerned and dont want her to die, She said that if I can show her proof that drinking and mixing the alcahol is causing her all his misery she will believe. Please help me help her. It's been a long time since I have been able to sleep over 2 or 3 hours at a time. It seems I cannot relax enough to sleep well, very often waking up feeling afraid for some reason. I won't take pills to sleep, so please don't even suggest that. What else can I do? Anyone?

Currently, I am taking birth control pills every day to help my period-it was extremely late, and the gyno said I needed to bring it on somehow. However, since I started taking the pills I have gained about 10 pounds, and I really want to get it off, but it seems like the pills are making it harder for my body to get rid of the excess weight. I have been exercising regularly and sticking to a very healthy diet, but my weight's just staying the same. Is it the pills?

i've had my braces for 3 years, and haven't gotten them off yet cause of the fact that imn ot wearing my rubberbands

Now i understand these rubberbands make your overbite better, but when i look at myself in the mirror, put myu teeth together, it makes me look like a monkey, cause my jaw moves up so far it looks so gay. When I have my rubberbands on, it pulls my teeth foward and if I make my loose eaze up, the rubberbands will make me look like a monkey. Now I don't want to wear them if their going to do this, cause I dotn want to look weird. Is this true?
