I masturbate regularly at least 3 times a week. I am 39 years old and have been doing it ever since my husband died 7 years ago and it has not affected me or my cycle.

As long as you aren't putting anything unusual in your vagina then masturbating should be safe and it should not affect your cycle.

It's perfectly safe, just don't stick anything in there besides what is made to go in there. If you start using other things besides what's made to go in there, you may get an infection.
It does not affect your period at all.
