I was nervous to tell my mom about my period but then she caught me digging through her cupboards in her bathroom looking for pads. I had no other choice but to tell her and we talked all about "becoming a women." I don't think she called it that though lol. But your Mom should know that it's natural to have a period and should hopefully be supportive of it. There's nothing she can do about it and I highly doubt she's going to be mad. But if you guys aren't close, maybe ask an auntie or one of you friends Moms about this and needing more stuff.

Your mom has her period, too. It's not like you're telling a 16 year old guy. She should understand. But, you've already told her, so let's get to the point. You have to have tampons & pads, right? Well, she has to buy them, too. She will most likely keep them in the cabinet in the bathroom or in the bathroom somewhere. You can just use those. But if there's trouble using the ones in the bathroom, then just ask her about taking you somewhere to buy them. I don't know what it's like to have a mom that i'm embarissed to ask to buy pads for me. My mom told me about periods when i was 8. I had mine when i was 10 & was completely informed of what it was. Don't worry. Your mom has her period, too. She will understand. If anything, she'll be glad that you let her know. Sometimes, we think moms don't understand & that it's gonna be embarrissing to tell them about our periods, but remember, your mom was once in the EXACT same situation you're in. She understands.

Well, if your mother already knows that you have begun getting your period, she would know that you will need to restock your supplies. She has a period too, she knows that tampons and pads don't magically restock themselves. Just tell her that you need a pack of tampons and pads, why is it such a big deal?

Just tell her that you need some more female items. she will know what you are talking about.
Besides... you should feel lucky :-p When ever I happened to need more when I was younger my mom was always gone and only my step dad was home so I had to ask him to go get me some more from the store.

Your mom has her period, she understands, might as well just tell her. How could you go 5 months without tampons?

Don't ask her. Just get them yourselves...you can to a register with a YOUNG female cashier because she won't know you and unlike old ladies they wont be all "kids these days are having their periods so soon" and ask you about it and stuff. Good luck!

there isn't something incorrect with you, that's easily regularly occurring. regularly females gets a clean to whitish discharge only before having their classes. while you're having to alter your panties somewhat lots that's recommended to evaluate utilizing a panty liner. i'm hoping this information enables. Fell loose to touch me each time you have questions. solid success!

Your mum was once at the stage you are at. Are you honestly embarrassed about telling her. I was brought up with my father and i was never embarrassed to tell him i need sanitary protection. Dont be shy theres nothing to be shy about, she was once in your situation, go shopping with her and just drop some in the trolley my daughter does with me.

I didn't tell my mom for ages either!
I know it's embarassing, but you just have to do it. I don't know your mother (of course), but I don't think many mothers think twice about buying tampons for their daughters.
Or you could just go get them yourself!
