when you "pull" a tendon or tear it, is it something that repairs itself over time or do i need to go to someone? It only hurts in a specific place and only when i touch it or press down on it. I can put some weight on it but not much.

i dont know if i have a urinary tract infection or not because i do not have all the symptoms. i dont have a urge to pee only when i come home from school because i never..ever pee at school. and it never burns..ever..but my urine smells really bad..and when i say bad..i mean..a really odd smell..also my urine is cloudy..sometimes it would be a clear color..than the next day it would be a dark color..than the next day it would be light clear color..than it would turn cloudy..well..its different each day..do i have a urinary tract infection or..is this caused by the things i eat? because my chemistry professor told me that the food you eat can effect the smell in your urine.

please someone help me..i do not want to go to the doctors at all..is this a urinary tract infection? or is this just..caused by the food i ate before.

My husband smokes and here lately, I have been worried about him. He has this persistent cough that sounds as if it hurts but when I ask him about it he either tells me that he is okay or makes a little snide remark about how I am overacting. He knows that I hate him smoking and that my Grandfather had lung cancer and emphysima. He also has two children that really need him and I am just scared that this cough could be something more serious. Can anyone out there help me?

My wife is talking about this surgery and I'd like to support her in it. What kind of costs can be expected in such a thing, approximately? Anything specific to watch for? Hi,

Asked this before, but I think I worded it wrong, so I'll try again. My doctor's receptionist does a lot of "extras" in the office. She is not a nurse, nor has she had any medical schooling at all (according to her). She gives flu shots, freezes and removes moles and skin tags, hands out prescription samples (not under doc's recommendations)...These are things I've seen firsthand.
I'm a little worried and am thinking of switching doctors because I'd rather have a qualified nurse or at least someone who has taken a course or two.
Is a receptionist allowed to do these things? I never thought they were but.....who knows.

I made a huge mistake, got drunk and went to a family function.
My cousin, who I am close too, like a second sister, was sooo angry at me. I was wrong. I admitted it, I called everyone to apologize guaranteeing that lesson was learned and not to do it again. My cousin still will not speak to me, I have tried and tried.
She won't return my calls, I told her I loved her and didn't mean to hurt her and apologized from the bottom of my heart. I am so upset, I can't eat, I keep wondering how I can fix this. It is driving me crazy ...She doesn't want anything to do with me.
