when you "pull" a tendon or tear it, is it something that repairs itself over time or do i need to go to someone? It only hurts in a specific place and only when i touch it or press down on it. I can put some weight on it but not much.

well well...this happens to me frequently because i am a marathon runner....some day you practice too much and this situation arises...
now the thing is that how do you feel comfortable...by streaching the tendon or by relaxing it...means...when do you get no pain...??
then apply some spray or cream which will provide with heat...so that it will get more blood and will heal fast....and eat an increased amt of protine...just now dont move youe part of body where the tendon is much...just le it relax...and if possible wound it with some streachable cloth...and make it keep at the same position...do this may e after one day of injury....
see ya ....hope you get this repaired...

It repairs over time , when you first get injured apply ice and take an anti inflammatory. then apply heat to draw blood to the injury to help with recovery.
