I have a pretty bad scrape on my knee (playing rugby skidded on both knees - removed skin from knee). The area is about 2 - 2.5 inches in diameter. It seems to have started to secrete yellow pus and is painful to touch, the surrounding areas have also become "sore". There is no sign of scabbing and its been 2.5 days.

My doctor had me on Prozac, and it wasn't helping. Switched me to Celexa. I told the Dr. that all I wanted to do was sleep and didn't need anything that would make me tired and sleepy. Doctor said Celexa would give me energy. I have only been taking it about 3 days, but I feel "loopy" and extremely sleepy! Anyone else experience this? Will it get better?

I asked a question this morning about whether people should be allowed to tell people on this board to quit chemo and try alternative medications, or if it was a dangerous practice that should be banned. A couple responders claimed that these treatments do work, but when I challenged them to show me some scientific evidence, nobody did. Can anyone show me evidence these treatments are effective cures?

Husband has had depression issues that have gone back about 8 or 10 years. This year he has hit rock bottom. Our business isn't doing well and rather than help me fix it he has been frozen unable to help. He's tried several antidepressants and is currently on 200mg Zoloft and today started seeing sparks of white out of the corner of his eyes. He is in counseling and has been for about 6 months. I'm not seeing much improvement. We're Christians and he's seeing a Christian counselor. I am at the end of my rope. Maybe he needs to go to the hospital or something. Any suggestions?

I am a 21 year old virgin, I am not ready to have sex yet or masturbating with a guy but enjoys pleasuring myself. All I do is fondle & flick "the man in the boat". Recently, I discovered the sensation from water pressure, like aiming the shower right there. Is there anything more that doesn't need penetration?

Don't get me wrong. I know that competition can be a good thing in some areas (e.g. business, politics, etc.). However, there are also some people who are extremely competitive in their personal lives, and I can't help but think that this is unhealthy. Why are they so competitive in EVERY area of their lives?

Here's my situation: I have been with the same partner for 5 years. I had 2 other partners before him but I always used condoms with them. My boyfriend now has been with 2 other girls before me. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old together.

Now the Question: I have been going to the gyno every year since I was 16 (Im 23). Well, I just got the results to my recent PAP smear and it said I have HPV. Can HPV lay dormant for over 5 years? Wouldn't they have found it on my PAP in 5 years?!! With 2 pregnancy with regular visits to the gyno it seems to me that it would have already been caught by now! I have no reason to believe that my boyfriend cheated and I know I have not. I know you all are going to say he cheated. But is there anyway one of us could have contracted it before we started dating and it is just now showing up. This is important so please gimme some serious answers. THANKS!!!
