Physiotherapy in the form of EMS, passive movement for the wrist, dynamic **** up splint is being administered . The patient is not responding to EMS even at high intensity and wasting is seen in the extensors of wrist. Is surgery the answer after 3 mnths of physio therapy or shd one wait for more time?

Was the wrist drop there before or after the surgery? 3 months is the usual time period given for nerve injuries to settle down. After this time, whatever you see will most probably be permanent. If the wrist drop occurred after the surgery, go see another doctor who will explain to you what went wrong. By the way, it is cocked-up splint. Not plain ****up splint. You don't have to be embarassed to write the whole word.
