I have been quite ill for some time with problems with my gallbladder and Iam not unable to eat very little if at all. I asked my GP to refer me to a consultant privately and although Iam getting worse have been hoping I would see the consultant who would put me forward for gallbladder surgery asap. I now found out today that my GP surgery hadnt even bothered to send the consultant a letter asking for the appointment. I just feel like crying. Any advice

All year around my feet crack and bleed. i try to put oil or lotion on my feet before i go to bed and wear thin socks and try not to wear flip flops. What else can i do to have soft smooth feet. and not like an outcast because of my ugly feet.

my mom & dad are getting a divorce & thats ok w/me because i usaully hate my dad i barely ever like him but since they r getting a divorce me & my mom moved out & now my mom is needy. she almost always needs me 2 be around & gets depressed if im not happy so now that im depressed alot i have 2 pretend 2 b happy while trying to take care of her cuz she is depressed enough on her own & if she knew im depressed she would get even worse so i try to be good not fight with her and pretend 2 b happy & b there for her but sometimes its just really hard for me because i was at my last school for 3 yrs the longest iv been anywhere & i had my best friend ever there we helped each other with everything we could tell each other everything and the other wouldnt judge she meant so much to me and now here its really hard dealing with everything by myself i have friends here but no1 like her that i would talk 2 like her, and since im depressed alot have insomnia and hate my new school i stay home more

In the middle of the night my wife got up to tend to our baby daughter and moved one of out childs fluffy animals. On doing so she appears to have upset something as she got a few drops of a liquid which glowed on her hand. There was a bit of a painful burning sensation but it seemed to fade quite fast and so far there’s been no further ill effect.

For info we have no pets and limited contact with them.

So my question is this. What sort of creature produces secretions like this?

Is it still effective if you have recently eaten? I had heard that you do not burn fat when your blood sugar is up from eating.. so does that mean its pointless to work out if you have just eaten? I go to the gym alot... but with four kids... it is not always feesable to not eat before working out because I am never guaranteed to get there in the morning.. sometimes its in the morning.. sometimes afternood and sometimes in the evening.... Thanks!

i am wearing orthotics and have been told by a retailer that runners provide best support for me i dont like the way the toes point up on runners i understand the reasoning behind it for a runnning shoe however i am concerned that the design may make my metartarsal pain worse as i do not intend to run

I have been wearing clear braces (like a really thin gumshield) for the past 6 months and every two weeks I get a new one fitted, which is gradually moving the teeth to their new positions. When the new one is fitted it is pretty tight and can be painful. The most recent one was extremely painful and after a few days I had an abcess above one of my front teeth. I went back to the dentist (a stand-in, my regular dentist was away) who told me something had cut off the blood supply to my tooth and it was dead. She would not confirm if it was caused by the brace. I am now faced with painful and expensive root canal work on the dead tooth and I am trying to establish who - if anyone - might be responsible for the tooth's untimely demise.
